Super Resolution Microscope Applications:

No special sample preparation when using SIM. The applicable fluorophore depends on the equipped laser lines. There are 405, 488, 561, 642 nm laser on our facility so the blue, green, orange, and deep red fluorophores can be imaged. For Z-stack image, the depth limitation of the Z-axis is about 30μm. SIM also can be used on live imaging, since 15 images need to be captured and calculated by the mathematics algorithm, it is not suitable for fast moving specimen(e.g. vesicle movement) imaging.
