Research Focus

Our mission is centered around harnessing multidisciplinary strategies to enhance the efficacy of research in natural products and optimize the development of biological control agents for crop protection and therapeutics for human diseases. The tremendous structural diversity and potent biological activity inherent in natural products continue to be driving forces behind our pursuit of new therapeutic discoveries. To streamline our research in microbial natural products, we have adopted an integrated strategy encompassing in situ metabolomics via imaging mass spectrometry, comparative metabolomics through molecular networking, and genome/transcriptome mining. Our efforts are poised to provide deeper insights into the progression and mechanisms of agricultural diseases. We anticipate unveiling new therapeutic leads or innovative biological control methods through these rigorous investigations.
