The successful candidates will actively participate in one of the following projects. 1. Investigation of the molecular mechanism of how the RGF1 peptide modulates reactive oxygen species (ROS) distributions in the specific root developmental zones. Yamada M, Han X, Benfey PN RGF1 controls root meristem size through ROS signaling. Nature. 2019 Dec 4. doi: 10.1038/s41586-019-1819-6. Epub 2019 Dec 4 https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-019-1819-6 2. Elucidation of the regulation mechanism of how ROS poat-translationally regulates target proteins. A candidate with metabolome, proteomics, and biochemistry backgrounds is strongly desired for this position.
