Dr. Su-Chiung Fang received her Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her diverse research career spans academia and industry, including postdoctoral research at UC San Diego and the Salk Institute for Biological Studies. She later moved to the private sector as an R&D Team and Project Leader at Sapphire Energy, working on green algae-based bioenergy development. Bringing together her academic and industrial background, she returned to basic research and is now a Research Fellow at the Agricultural Biotechnology Research Center at Academia Sinica.
