Dr. Yu-Ling Lin's research primarily focuses on integrating natural product pharmacology and tumor immunology to establish a B-cell-centered immunoregulatory framework. Her research scope extends from cancer therapy to the prevention of aging-associated immune dysfunction. She aspires to develop innovative translational therapeutic strategies for cancer, aging, and immune-related diseases.
Our research team has discovered specific plant-derived bioactive components that not only directly induce cell death in drug-resistant colorectal cancer but also effectively activate B-cell-mediated humoral immunity. This discovery provides a novel, dual-action immunomodulatory solution for cancer therapy. Furthermore, to address high-risk pediatric brain tumors with limited treatment options, we have developed novel botanical drugs capable of blocking core oncogenic pathways and reprogramming tumor metabolism.
