Overview of Screening Platforms for Natural Product Drug Discovery - Learning from the Small Molecules

Natural Product Libraries offer significant potential for the discovery of novel drugs, however high throughput screening methods of natural products, to guide isolation of the bioactive compounds, are currently rarely used. My talk will provide an overview of the technology platforms available for Natural product screening and provide some examples of how these have been applied.
I will also give some examples of natural product drug discovery programmes from my own laboratory.
