Dear Participants and Colleagues:

It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the International Conference “Frontiers Conference in Natural Medicine & Healthcare” at Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan, November 11-12, 2024.

This conference aims to promote cutting-edge research and technological platforms in herbal medicine or plant-based drug development and botanical supplements for human or animal health. There will be three themes/sessions: I. Opportunities and challenges of herbal medicine in human diseases; II. Emerging roles of phytogenics in animal husbandry; and III. Cutting-edge technologies in natural medicine R&D. This conference will bring together scientists, clinicians, leaders, and R&D managers from industries working on emerging and innovative science and technology in evidence-based phytomedicine and botanical supplements for human and domestic/economic animal healthcare. We hope to facilitate communications between academic and industrial researchers and managers, as well as young scholars, to promote cross-disciplinary agriculture-related medical research and biotechnology in Taiwan for the benefit of humanity. The conference will feature several internationally and domestically renowned scholars who will deliver keynote speeches and discussions on how to promote the development of traditional or folk herbal medicine into nutraceuticals and/or modernized medicines for disease prevention and therapy.
