Model Evaluation of the Phytoextraction Potential of Heavy Metal Hyperaccumulators and Non-hyperaccumulators
To quantify the phytoremediation capacity of hyperaccumulators, we utilized our quantification recursive algorithm to evaluate and compared the phytoextraction potential of heavy metal hyperaccumulators and nonhyperaccumulators. By integrating a hierarchical linear model with a recursive algorithm and analyzing data collected from previous laboratory and field studies, we developed a method to provide improved insight into phytoremediation that is extremely flexible for all examples thus far investigated.Kuo-Chen Yeh
