1.植物天然物之生合成途徑基因與酵素相關研究
2.工業用酵素開發與功能鑑定
(Research Assistant or Postdoctoral Research Fellow position opening for the study on 1) biosynthesis pathway of bioactive phytocompounds in medicinal plants; and 2: Industrial enzyme functional charaterization)

研究內容(Research topic):
研究具藥理活性之植物天然物的生合成途徑,內容包括二次代謝物之萃取及分析、基因克隆、靜默或異源蛋白質或酵素表達與功能分析。
(Job contents: metabolite profiling of secondary metabolites; gene cloning, expression, and analysis from NGS and/or microarray data; functional study of candidate genes/enzymes in plant a or overexpressed in microbe.)

資格(Candidates):
對藥用植物二次代謝物研究在農業生物科技之應用有高度興趣與具研究熱忱之應徵者:
1. 具植物基因轉殖及分生實驗經驗。
2. 重組酵素之表達與酵素功能研究。
3. 具次世代定序及微陣列相關經驗。
(Candidates familiar with plant molecular biology, genetic engineering, enzymology, or experienced in next generation sequencing or microarray study are preferred.)

[Hsin-Hun Yeh Lab] Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Research Assistant Position Open

Research Interests:
Plant viruses cause devastating diseases on plants and threaten our food security. However, besides being pathogen, plant viruses also can be applied as tools for valuable protein expression or gene functional assay in plants. The interests of my laboratory are mainly focused on studying plant virology and plant-virus interaction, developing antiviral strategies and application of viral vectors for genome wide gene functional analysis. Our efforts include collection of economically important plant viruses from field, develop methods for viral disease diagnosis, study virus-plant interactions for antiviral purpose, and establish viral vector(s) for research tools. A multidisciplinary approach including genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry and functional genomics have been established and applied in our laboratory.

Qualifications:
Candidates familiar with Virology, Molecular Biology, Plant Genetic, or experienced in next generation sequencing or microarray study are preferred.
